Flocked Christmas Tree

Flock your own Christmas tree!

Bring snow inside your home this season by flocking your Christmas tree!

Flocked Christmas Tree

This project is great for those who don’t usually experience a white Christmas or those who are bored with their old but still in mint condition Christmas trees. ;)

Unlike the usual DIY ideas we feature here, this project requires getting a snow flocking powder. You can check on your local store but you can also find one from Amazon. This product we’re mentioning really mimics real snow. It is self-adhesive so you don’t need any other special product or tool to apply – just some items you already have at home! It’s very easy and not as messy to apply as it may seem. And the best part is the product is biodegradable. This means that it is environment friendly and if your are using a fresh cut Christmas tree, the flocking may be composted along with the tree!

So if you want to have a different looking Christmas tree this year, why not have a go at this little DIY project?

Do you know someone who’d love this idea too?

You’ll need these materials:

  • Christmas Tree
  • “Sno-Flock” Powder with Ice Flakes
  • Strainer
  • Spray Bottle of Water
